This study aims at investigating the following: 1) Exploratory behavior in the students of the primary stage. 2) The significance of statistical variation in exploratory behavior according to gender (male- female). 3) Social facilitation in the students of the primary stage. 4) The significance of statistical variation in Social facilitation according to gender (male- female). 5) Innovation in the students of the primary stage. 6) The significance of statistical variation in innovation according to gender (male-female). 7) The correlation between exploratory behavior and social facilitation. 8) The correlation between exploratory behavior and innovation. 9) The correlation between social facilitation and innovation. 10) The extent of participation of exploratory behavior and social facilitation in innovation. The sample of the study consisted of 200 male and female pupils. Two assessment tools were built to assess the two types of exploratory behavior, oral and visual according to the theory of Maw & Maw 1964. The scale consisted of 62 items: 38 for oral type and 24 for visual type. The face and constructional validity were calculated. The reliability of the tool was checked by retesting and split-halves to reach 0.82 and 0.88 respectively. Also a tool for social facilitation was built according to Triplett's (1897) theory. The scale consisted of 29 items. The face and constructional validity were calculated. The reliability of the tool was checked by retesting and split-halves to reach 0.80 and 0.82 respectively. The researcher adopted Torrance’s 1972 scale of innovation. The face validity of the scale was checked, then, the reliability of scoring. The reliability coefficient of the researcher with himself reached 0.84 while the reliability coefficient of the researcher with other scorer reached 0.82. Using the following statistical tools: T-test for one sample and two independent samples, Pearson correlation coefficient, regression analysis, the results appeared as the following: 1) The sample of the study is characterized by exploratory behavior. 2) There are statistically significant variations in exploratory behavior according to gender and in favor of males. 3) The sample of the study is characterized by social facilitation. 4) There are no statistically significant variations in social facilitation according to gender. 5) The sample of the study is characterized by innovation. 6) There are no statistically significant variations in innovation according to gender. 7) There is a correlation between exploratory behavior and social facilitation. 8) There is a correlation between exploratory behavior and innovation. 9) There is a correlation between social facilitation and innovation. 10) There is a participation of exploratory behavior and social facilitation in innovation. In light of the results of the study, the researcher proposed several recommendations and suggestions. (Author’s abstract)
