This study aimed to discover the Degree of Using Metacognition thinking skills of the Faculty of Education students at the University of Hail from their perspective and attitudes towards it. The study population of all students of the College of Education at the University of Hail to the Summer semester 1432/1433 H For the purposes of the study sample was selected from the Faculty of Education at the University of Hail was random 130 students, Reliability coefficient was calculated as total overall reliability coefficient of the tool 0.87 A reliability coefficient is high and appropriate for the purposes of the study. The study found low degree students the Faculty of education at the University of Hail Metacognition thinking skills where the arithmetic mean 1.32, Negative attitudes came, The study also demonstrated statistically function differences attributable to the accrual rate, and life skills course, The study recommended the need to hold courses for students showing the importance of skills beyond knowledge and strategies for their implementation.
