مدى التزام مدرسي التربية الرياضية بمعايير الجودة الشاملة في مديرية تربية محافظة الانبار في العراق
The current study aimed to identify the extent of the commitment to overall quality standards by the physical education teachers in the Directorate of Education of Al-Anbar in Iraq through six study fields (personal characteristics, lesson planning, lesson implementation, classroom management, information technology, and assessment) and identify the differences in the responses of the members of the study sample according to the personal characteristics of (academic qualification and experience). The researcher adopted the descriptive research approach due to its suitability to the nature of the objective of the study; the study community consisted of all male and female teachers who teach the physical education in the Directorate of Education of Al-Anbar for the school year (2017-2018) amounting to (124) with 117 male teachers. As for the study sample, it consisted of (93) teachers by (79%) of the study community. After conducting the statistical analysis, the study concluded many results, most important of which is that the level of the commitment to overall quality standards by the physical education teachers in the Directorate of Education of Al-Anbar, Iraq was medium and that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) among the viewpoints of the members of the study sample regarding the study fields and the tool as a whole according to the academic qualification and experience. The study recommended the following: it is necessary to conduct awareness programs through holding courses for physical education teachers and workshops to educate and familiarize them with the importance of developing their educational and behavioral performance in light of overall quality standards.
