This study aimed to establish standards of the psychometric characteristics that would evaluate performance of the physical education students in the course of internship in Jordan. For the purposes of this study descriptive approach was used. Sample of this study consisted of the internship supervisors and lecturers (n-72) in addition to male and female students (n=92). We analyzed validity, distinguishment, Cronbach Alpha, reliability using test-retest, and coefficient of objectivity. Moreover, psychometric characteristics were analyzed using percentage and correlation factors. This study resulted in establishment of the scientific standards and evaluation sheet showed its percentage of coverage. Semester plan had 8 standards with the coverage of 5%, daily notebook of preparation had 16 standards with coverage of 10%. Furthermore, warming up part was divided into two parts: general warm up and physical exercise with the coverage of 5% and 10% respectively. The main part was also divided into two parts: the learning part with 9 standards and the coverage of 10% and practical part had 11 standards with the coverage of 20%. The cool down part had 8 standards and the coverage of 5%. In addition, supervisors’ visits had 9 standards with the coverage of 25%). Finally, the reports given by schools had the same standards as the supervisors’ visiting and covered 10%. The researchers recommended evaluation the internship students in physical education course through the evaluation sheets that were in the line of psychometric characteristics of this study.
