The aim of this study is to suggest a program to improve the administrative performance of the chairmen of sections of in educational directorates in Northern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the light of their training needs. The sample of the study consisted of (142) chairmen of sections in the educational directorates in Northern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and they were selected purposely. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers develop a questionnaire consisted of (72) items disturbed to three domains (humanitarian competencies, technical competencies, and imaginary cognitive competencies) in order to reveal that the training needs for chairmen of sections. The results of the study that the training needs to improve the administrative performance of chairmen was moderate, and technical competencies domain came first, while the imaginary cognitive competencies were the last rank. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between averages of responses of individuals about training needs attributed to gender, managerial experience or academic qualifications. At the end of the paper, he researchers suggested holding training programs to improve the administrative performance of chairmen. (Published Abstract)
