However, research to satisfy without integrating the environmental component has strengthened energy issues. The need to ensure an environment conducive to learning, healthy, comfortable and durable that these buildings must be designed according to the requirements of the users’ comfort while remaining within the approach of sustainable development. In Algeria, production of school buildings had to respond to major infrastructure needs. Faced with this request, standard plans have been proposed by the government. Widely reproduced in any country, large quantitative progress is accomplished. However, the types of school buildings from this strategy have neglected the qualitative aspect and climatic characteristics of each region to the detriment of economy and timeliness. The importance of issues related to the education sector on one hand, and of environment on the other hand, arouses questions about the quality of moods that can provide these types of plans; and ability to meet the environmental challenges of the XXI century. The main aim of this research task is the evaluation of thermal comfort in the recurring topologies of the school buildings of lesson means and secondary in the climatic context of the Tizi-Ouzou city. The investigation by questionnaire and the series of in-situ measurements are the means used to answer the problems. The principal results obtained reveal a dissatisfaction with regard to thermal environment at the occupants and that environmental quality is not taken into account in the design of these buildings.
