The aim of this study is to identify the Primary teachers’ attitudes towards reward and punishment styles Marawi local Northern State – Sudan, and then to the effect of some variables, (Gender, training, years of experience, educational qualification). The descriptive analytical method was used in this study, the sample of this study consisted of (248) male and female teachers which represents (20%) of (496) teachers the original society, chosen by the stratified random, to fulfill the aim of the research, a scale of (26) items, the data then analyzed using mean, standard deviation, T-test, ANOVA. Results showed: that teachers (Primary School) using the styles of reward attributed variables gender and years of experience in favor of females and ten years or more, there are also significant differences in the style punishment attributed variables (training, years of experience, educational qualification) and in favor of the trainer, and five years or more, above the university, while there are no significant differences in the style of reward attributed to differences in the style of reward attributed to differences variables (training, qualification),. There are also no significant differences in the style punishment due to differences variables (gender). Finally, in the light of the study results and discussion the researcher suggested some recommendations. (Author's abstract)
