درجة مراعاة كتاب القواعد والتطبيقات اللغويّة للصف العاشر الأساسيّ لوظيفيّة النحو من وجهة نظر المعلمين في الأردن
This study aims at investigating the degree to which grammar and language applications text book of tenth grade considers syntax function from school teachers' point of views in Jordan. The study used descriptive approach as a (31) items questionnaire distributing of three domains: selected topics, presentation methods, and evaluation, was used for data collection. Validity and reliability were obtained using statistical suitable procedures. The study was conducted on a random sample of (168) teachers at Irbid the first directorate of education. Results showed that the tenth grade Arabic grammar textbook consideration for functional grammar was moderate. where instructional methods rank first; then evaluation, while selected topics in 10th grade grammar textbook ranked last. Based on these findings, it was suggested the need for reconsideration for tenth grade grammar textbook to focus a more on functional grammar and that grammatical topics address must be based on students' needs and to avoid difficulty and complexity in them.
