درجة ممارسة معلّمي الجغرافيا لمهارات الخرائط في مديرية تربية إربد الأولى
The study aimed to identify the degree of practicing the map skills by the teachers of geography in the first directorate of irbid and to investigate the impact of variables of (gender, scientific qualification, and experience). The sample of the study was consisted of (61) teachers from both genders, whereas the tool of the study consisted of (42) paragraphs. The descriptive approach was applied. The results of the study have shown that the degree of practicing the map skills by the teachers of geography was high. Also, the degree of practicing the other areas was high. They were ordered as the following: the skills of reading maps, the skills of explaining, analyzing, and conclusion, gps skills, and identification of locating skills). The results have also shown that there are statistical significant due to the variable of gender, and scientific qualification for (higher studies). Moreover, there are statistical significant due to the variable of experience for (above 5 years). In the light of the results, it has been recommended in the suggestions. (Author’s abstract)
