The current research aims to The Emotional Labor and Its Relation to Counseling Environment Of Educational Counselors, For achieving the above mentioned objectives, the researcher chose by a random class method a sample include the educational counselors in Baghdad their number reach 309) counselors and by suitable percent from the original society of 1469 counselor. it was interested that the sample be represented to the six educational directorates in Baghdad and also established two tools: The first one is to measuring the emotional labor that consist of 20 items distributed on two fields which are, Surface Acting, field Deep Acting, According to the (Hochschild) theory. The second one is to measure the Counseling Environment and consist of 32 items distributed on two fields which are, the physical components of physical, and Psychosocial. After the Articles to the group of experts and arbitrators in Education and Psychology, Establishment each tool from these two tools passed with several steps the first one was the face validity and then characteristic of items and then the validity of structure and after that approving by using two methods, where fix element and Alpha Cranach. After ascertaining from the Psychometric properties of the two scales of this research, they are applied on the main sample of the research which consists of 309 counselors, The data are analyzed by using the statistical package (SPSS) where the result show the following: 1) The educational counselors exert an emotional labor during their counseling work with those who are counseled. 2) According to the gender, the educational counselors exert an emotional labor for the favor of females. 3) The educational counselors work in an environment that marred by a lot of weakness and imperfections. 4) There is a contrasting attention in the counseling work environment for the favor of females. 5) There is a negative relationship between the emotional labor and the counseling environment, which means the weakness and imperfections that the educational counselors suffer from in their work environment require them to exert emotional labor. According to the results of research, the researcher put number of recommendations that are: 1) Ministry of Education need to pay attention to the status of the educational counselor and highlights his professional role by providing the success factors to the counseling process. 2) Ministry of Education needs to pay attention to improve the school counseling environment to in line with the scientific and professional work identity of the educational counselor. 3) The need to provide a counseling library that contains many counseling standards and programs to take advantage of them pursuant to the scientific and human nature of the counseling situation. 4) Provide up-to-date technology equipment’s to support and prompt the work and the success of the educational counselors’ tasks. 5) Emphasize on the personal traits of the educational counselor and select those who have high sentimental sense and believe in the size and importance of the counseling process in the education institution.
