Science teaching requires the use of teaching methods based on the theories of educational activity makes the learner and the teacher basically have just a router and a guide to the process of learning and teaching those methods that a researcher is trying to find out their impact in raising the pupils and the extent of the collection of information retention strategy is to have the thinking hand. It is modest experience researcher felt that there is weakness and a decrease in the level of students to absorb material sciences, as well as the weakness of science teachers and their plans do not include the school’s mental skills in learning science, which makes the learning process achieved the desired goals. Therefore, this research aims to: thinking Hand of the effectiveness of the strategy notebook in the collection of fifth-grade pupils in primary and retention of information have to achieve the goals of this research was the formulation of zero hypotheses the following two: 1) Not found statistically significant differences at the level of significance 0.05 between the average scores schoolgirls experimental group who studied the strategy according to the thinking hand and average scores schoolgirls control group who studied according to the usual way in the achievement test in science. 2) Not found statistically significant differences on the level of significance 0.05 between the average scores schoolgirls experimental group who studied under a strategy to thinking hand and average scores schoolgirls control group who studied according to the usual soft in the retention of information. The search was limited to fifth grade pupils in elementary school Nahrawan deliberate manner for the academic year (2013-2014m) and units (fifth and sixth) of the science book for fifth grade primary. The Researcher used the experimental design The experimental groups, one taught in accordance with the strategy thinking hand and the other officer taught according to the usual way, was preparing lesson plans for the two groups and presented to a group of experts to make sure of their safety. And a test of the collection of posttest which consisted of 30 paragraph type multiple choices, was calculated validity and reliability coefficient of discrimination and difficulty of paragraphs, using the equation Keodr Richardson- 20 was calculated stability of the achievement test 0.88. Included research sample 60 student from fifth grade female pupils in primary and distributed randomly into two groups, one experimental and included 30, his disciple and the other officer and included 30, his disciple, was rewarded in the variables (intelligence, achievement former science subject, chronological age, Achtbarthesela dimensionally). And applied experience in the second semester of the academic year 2013/ 2014 and the experiment lasted for 8 weeks, and the researcher taught the two groups. It also has to address the data statistically using the test (t-test) for two independent samples is equal, and the results showed superiority of the experimental group that studied in accordance with the strategy of thinking hand on their peers in the control group that studied according to the method routine, as well as the results showed differences statistically significant between grades retention test for the experimental group that studied the strategy according to the thinking hand. In light of these findings the researcher recommended using the strategy thinking hand in teaching science and suggested that further studies of the stages and different subjects and find out their impact on other variables.
