The current study aims at identifying: 1) The exploratory behaviour and its relationship to self-regulation among high school students. 2) Statistical significant differences in exploratory behaviour according to the gender and stages of study. 3) Self-regulation among secondary school students. 4) Statistical significant differences in self-regulation according to the gender and stages of study. 5) The relationship between exploratory behaviour and self-regulation according to the gender and stages of study. The sample of the study consisted of 400 students (male & female) in High school in amount of 200 male and 200 female were stratified randomly chosen. To verify the aims of the study, an instrument is designed to measure the expletory behaviour. The scale included 58 items. The verification of instrument is a validity through face validity and construct validity. The reliability coefficient was away that re -test 0.81 and Cronbach҆s alpha way 0.83. While self– regulation instrument, the researcher adopt a foreign scale to Bandy and Moor 2010. After extraction translation validity and face validity, The reliability coefficient was 0.82. By using the following statistical means, vis (Pearson correlation coefficient formula, T-Test for one sample, and two way analysis of variance). The results of the study can be drawn as the following; 1) Students of high school have an expletory behaviour. 2) There are statistical significant differences in exploratory behaviour according to gender in favor of female students, and there are statistical significant differences in exploratory behaviour according to the stages of study in favor of preparatory school. 3) Students of high school have self-regulation. 4) There are statistical significant differences in self-regulation according to gender in favor of female students, and there are statistical significant differences in self-regulation according to the stages of study in favor of preparatory school. 5) There are positive relationship between exploratory behaviour and self-regulation.
