The current paper aims at: 1) Building cognition flexibility scale. 2) Uncovering level of cognition flexibility in students of University. 3) Building programs of Thinking Strategies 4) Knowing the effect of thinking strategies' training programs on improving the cognition flexibility in students of the University. In order to carry out the research goals, the researcher has placed the following hypotheses: 1) there are not statistically differences between averages of control group marks before and after test of the scale as a whole. 2) There are not statistically differences between averages of experimental group marks before and after test of the scale as a whole. 3) There are not statistically differences between averages of control and experimental groups ' marks in respect to cognition flexibility level base on after –test as a whole. 4) Knowing the impact of the independent coefficient (strategies of side thinking) on the coefficient of cognition flexibility. Method of research: It has been used descriptive method to uncover the level of cognition flexibility, while it has been used experimental method to apply strategies of side-thinking. The tools of the research are: 1) Tool of scaling cognition flexibility. 2) Tool of applying the side-thinking strategies. The researcher has approached to the following results: 1) there are statistically differences between experimental group marks in before and after-test of the scale as a whole. 2) There are statistically differences between experimental and control groups' marks in respect to level of cognitive flexibility on after-test.
