تقويم خدمات التدخل المبكر لذوي الإحتياجات الخاصة في سلطنة عمان من وجه نظر الأسر
The main purpose of this research was to evaluate early intervention services of children with special needs in Oman by their parents. In order to: 1) Identify how the parents evaluate the early intervention services in Oman serving children with special needs. 2) Identify whether there were any significant differences in evaluation of early intervention services across demographic characteristics. 3) Identify the outcome of early intervention that has the lowest satisfaction. A survey methodology with quantitative research design by using Family Outcomes Survey was used. The samples of this study consisted of 53 parents in Association of Early Intervention in Oman. The results revealed the following: 78% of parents had positive evaluation about the program of early intervention, while 22% of parents had a negative evaluation. There were significant differences in evaluation of early intervention services across type of services provided in favor of early intervention services by the (Association). Parents expressed dissatisfaction about the early intervention services given by the center. (Published abstract)
