أثر استخدام طريقة حل المشكلات في تدريس المسائل الرياضية اللفظية على التحصيل الدراسي لتلاميذ الحلقة الثانية بمرحلة التعليم الأساسي بمحلية الخرطوم
This study aimed at identifying the impact of using the problem solving method in teaching verbal mathematics issues on the learning achievement of the pupils of the first two grades of basic education in Khartoum locality. The researcher used the Descriptive and Experimental method. The study population comprised all male and female pupils of grade five of Basic Education registered for the academic year 2014-2015, in addition to 141 male and female mathematics in Khartoum locality. The researcher selected a purposive sample of 40 female pupils. The two groups were divided into four groups. The female group was divided into a control group and a control group, 20 pupils in each group. The same was done with other group of male pupils. The control groups were taught in the traditional method, while the experimental groups were taught in problem solving method. Also 68 males and females teachers were randomly selected as a sample for the study. The questionnaire, pretest post.test were used as tools for the study. The researcher used the statistical package for social science analysis to analyze data. The researcher comes to the following findings: 1) Using problem solving method in teaching mathematics subject raise efficiency of the learning achievement for the pupils of grade live Basic education. 2) There are some difficulties concerning mathematics curriculum in solving verbal mathematics issues for the pupils of grade two, at Basic Education. 3) The researcher has set a number of recomondations, the most important are: 1) Training programmed for mathematics teachers grade two in teaching verbal mathematics issues through problem solving methods. 2) Teachers book should contain different teaching methods to teach verbal issues, such as problem solving method with intensified examples. 3) It is possible to overcome the difficulties that face teachers in solving verbal mathematics issues through continual training and teachers use of modern teaching methods.
