The purpose of this study is to recognize the self-esteem levels among orphan students of the SOS villages as well as developing a training programme to enhance their self esteem. The sample of the study consisted of 72 male female students from the primary intermediate and secondary school levels, students were distributed into an experimental and control groups with 36 students in each. the learners of the experimental group were exposed to a 16 training sessions programme that lasted for 16 weeks-one session per week-but those of the control group did not get any training as such. the study found the following results:1) there were significant statistical differences α=0.05 between the performance means of the samples on the scale as a whole and attributed to the age variable of 17 years old students.2) there were significant statistical differences α =0.05 between the performance means of the samples on the post self-esteem scale as a whole attributed to the group variable in the favor of the experimental group who studied through the proposed training program.3) there were no significant statistical differences α =0.05 between the performance means of the sample on the post self-esteem scale as a whole attributed to the effect of interaction between the group and the age.
