The study aims to explore the degree of employment of information and communication technology in learning process by members of teaching staff to get acquainted with the inclinations of tutors at education faculties in Khartoum toward using technology to find out obstacles to the application of such technologies. In this study, a descriptive approach is adopted as appropriate for studies of this kind; a questionnaire was used to obtain data from field. The study was focused on education colleges of university of Khartoum, Sudan University of Science & Technology, Al-Zaeim Al –Azhari University. An intended sample including specialist members teaching staff from department of educational technologies EdTech is taken; and a random sample of 52 members of teaching staff in other educational colleges to arrive at as accurate results as possible. A SPSSS and Excel programs were applied to reach results below: 1) There is a difference between specialist members of teaching staff and non-specialists regarding the use of information and communication devices. 2) Specialist and non-specialist educators at faculties of education demonstrated positive inclinations toward the use of information and telecommunication technologies. 3) Both specialists, non-specialist members of teaching staff at education faculties were found to use information and telecommunication technology. 4) Specialist and non-specialist teachers are all agreed on existence of obstacles to usage. Recommendations: 1) Faculties of education should be equipped with Internet connected computer laboratories. 2) Tutors should be provided with training course so they are in touch with rapid developments in educational Technology.
