The aims of research were to identify the effectiveness of harvesting strategy of serious creativity in: 1) Achievement the scientific organic chemistry material of the students of the college of education for pure science (Ibn Al-Heitham). 2) Cognitive motivation for the students of the college of education for pure science (Ibn Al-Heitham) To make sure of achieving the two objectives of this research therefore, formulated the following zero hypotheses: 1) There is no statistically significant difference at the level of 0.05 between the average scores of students who are studying according to the strategy of serious creativity and the average scores for students who are studying according to the traditional way in Achievement of scientific organic chemistry material. 2) There is no statistically significant difference at the level of 0.05 between the average scores of students who are studying according to the serious harvesting strategy and the average scores for students who are studying according to traditional way in scale of cognitive motivation. The research limits were: 1) College of education for pure science (Ibn Al-Heitham) in Bagdad University. 2) The students in the department of chemistry – second class in the morning study. 3) The beginning of the first semester until 27/11/2013 until 23/03/2014 from the second semester of the scholastic year 2013-2014. 4) The practical organic chemistry laboratory experiments. The experimental method was selected as the equal groups and with the dimensional test for the pre and post achievement of the cognitive motivation. The research sample was selected randomly that was amounted 26 Students distributed randomly into two groups and as the following:1) Branch (a) the experimental group who studied according to the harvesting strategy for the serious creativity consisted of 13 students. 2) Branch (c ) the controller group , who studied according to the traditional method consisted of 13 students .It has been rewarded the following two groups of research by the following variables : Timing age .( in Months), Intelligence, Testing the previous information, The practical degree of organic chemistry material in the first class, Scale of the cognitive motivation. The researcher prepared the following requirements for the research: 1) Identification of the scientific material contained practical organic chemistry experiments amounted 11 experiences. 2) Determining the behavioral purposes concerning with the practical organic chemistry experiments which has been reached 182 behavioral purposes. 3) Preparing teaching plans for the first experimental group that studied according to the harvesting strategy for the serious creativity and the controller group who studied according to the traditional method. 4) Preparing an achievement test of the type of multiple-choice 50 paragraph was sure of reliability and fixation. 6) The researcher adopted a cognitive motivation scale, which was sure of reliability and fixation. The search experience have included the first and second semesters of the scholastic year 2013-2014 and after the completion of the experiment has been applied research tools as following: Test of scholastic achievement; Scale of cognitive motivation. After processing the results statistically using the Mann - Whitney test of medium samples, the results showed the following: 1) There is a difference statistically significant at the level of significance 0.05 for the benefit of students in the experimental group who studied according to the harvesting strategy of the serious creativity and their superiority on the students of the controller group who have studied the traditional method in Achievement and depended on this, the first zero hypothesis for search rejected. 2) The presence of a statistically significant difference at the level of significance 0.05 for the benefit of students in the experimental group who studied the harvesting strategy according to the harvest creativity of serious students and their superiority on the controller group who studied according to the traditional way in cognitive motivation and depended on this, The first zero hypothesis for the research rejected. The researcher concluded: 1) Appropriating the harvesting strategy for serious creativity with practical organic chemistry lab material topics that are taught during the experiment for the students of the second class in the department of chemistry. 2) Effectiveness of harvesting strategy of serious creativity in Achievement and cognitive motivation among the students of the second class in the department of chemistry in the practical organic chemistry lab material contrasting to the traditional method, it is important goal advocated by all the conferences and modern educational behaviors. 3)The harvesting strategy of serious creativity helped in teaching practical organic chemistry laboratory material as provided by the educational situations that provoking interest of students and help them in the use of strategic steps of serious creativity at the problems they face. 4) This strategy contributed to encouraging students to freedom of opinion and explorations and ask questions and provoking them with their positive participation during the lesson and that is what the researcher felt during the application of experience. In light of this, it has been developed a number of recommendations and suggestions to conduct research and other studies to examine Effectiveness of harvesting strategy of serious creativity in variables other than those listed in this study.
