The Objectives of the Study: This study aimed at identifying the degree of practicing the configuration management among the secondary schools managers in Ta’if from the perspective of the educational coordinators. Methodology of the Study: This study adopted descriptive analytical methods. The Study Tool: It is represented in a questionnaire composed of two main divisions: the first one considers the general information while the second part makes account of the coordinates of the questionnaire included in fifty seven items distributed on four fields of study pertaining to the configuration management (the future vision, encouraging employees to be creative and innovative, the role model, the regulatory culture that augments configuration management). Population of the Study: It is composed of 176 educa3onal coordinators. The Statistical Methods: We have adopted the use of the correlation factor of pearson coefficient, Cronbach’s alpha coefficient to test tool validity and stability besides the use of percentages, means and the standard deviation of the degrees of application and practice. We also adopted the usage of the one way ANOVA analytical method and the Independent sample T test to assess and detect the significance of the statistical differences after redefining the experience level into two subclasses. The Most Important Results: 1) It was significant through the results that the degree of configuration management practice as a whole is moderate with the dimensions of the configuration management ordered as per the real logic order for each of them as follows the role model, the regulatory culture augmenting reconfiguration and then the future vision together with encouragement of the employees to acquire more creative and innovative skills. 2) There are no such differences of statistical significance at the significance level α= 0.05 among the response means of the individuals in the study population sample that represents the educational coordinators assessment of the degree of practice for secondary schools managers regarding configuration management work practices and found that the configuration management and its fields are mainly governed by the experience regardless of the role model aspect for those of mild experience and that there are no such differences that have significance of statistical importance at the significance level α=0.05 among the response means of the individuals in the study population sample that represents the educational coordinators assessment of the degree of practice for secondary schools managers regarding configuration management work practices as per the whole mark and its fields and found that it is mainly dependent on the scientific qualification, courses and the field of supervision. The Most Important Recommendations: 1) It is highly essential to train the managers at secondary schools to attain and develop the necessary skills and capabilities for configuration management with all its different procedures and fields. 2) It terribly important to give feedback to the educational officials and decisions makers regarding the results of Study and studies to help prepare for future planning and decision making procedures. 3) The adequacy and skills of configuration management must be taken into account while selecting the managers of secondary school facilities. 4) It is of intense necessity to develop the assessment methods of teachers and they must be supervised to evaluate their capability to progress while the assessment of them and identifying the degree of resistance they confer.
