العنف المدرسي وعلاقته بالنمو الأخلاقي لدى عينة من طلاب المرحلة الثانوية بتعليم محافظة الليث
Aims of the study: The purpose of this study is to identify the level of school violence and the moral growth, the relationship between them and the differences according to specialty, level and age. Sample of the Study: This study has been applied on a sample of three secondary school and on 160 students, who are distributed between the legal and natural science specialties in the second and third secondary grades. Tools of the Study: The scale of diagnosis of violence, which has been prepared Zainab Shoqair 2005, the scale of Moral Growth which has been originally prepared by Jibis & others 1984 in the light of the theory of Kohlberg. Results of the Study: This study reached to the following results: 1) Ranged level of school violence to the study sample of light and representing 26.25% to the average and representing 46.25%, and to representing high 26.25% and very sharp and representing 1.25%. 2) Ranged level of moral development to 138 representing a percentage 86 and 25% Of the study sample fall between the transitional phase {2/3} transition {3/4}. While located two 2 students and their percentage 25.1% in the transitional phase {2/1}, and located a number 6 students and their percentage 75.3% in the second phase, and is located a number 10 students and the proportion 25.6% in the transitional phase {4/3}, and located a number 4 and proportion of students 50.2% in the fourth stage. 3) There is positive statistically significant correlative relationship between the school violence and moral growth. 4) There are statistically significant differences between the means of school violence scores, which have been in favor of the students of legal specialty. The differences were in favor of second graders in terms of level, and in favor of the students who are aged 17 Years old in terms of age difference. 5) There are statistically significant differences between the means of scores of moral growth. The differences were in favor of the students of natural specialty in terms of specialty, in terms of study level the differences were in favor of third graders, and in terms of age differences the differences were in favor of students who are aged 20 Years. The Most Important Recommendations: 1) The researcher recommends using behavioral cognitive program in order to reduce students’ violence. Also, he recommends allocating study lectures for concentrating on the moral side of students via making seminars and religious programs in secondary schools. Furthermore, caring with extra-curricular cooperative activities, which increase social interaction and communication between students in order to increase love, respect and non-violence.
