The recent research aims to know the validity of the constructive learning in acquiring Family Education & Technical Crafts Department students the engineering ornament skills and in order to achieve this goal , the research followed up an experimental with partial design and he choose the First Class students \ Morning Study for Family Education & Technical Crafts Department students in the Collage of Education \ Al- Mustansirriya University \ Baghdad as a filed for applying this experiment . The department includes one branch for the first class, its individuals are 54 students, example of research limited on 36 students and experimental by 18 students on each group and he statistically compared them in the time stage variables, the scholastic attainment for fathers and mothers, the previous experience, and the differences have no statistical sing at level 0.05. After the scientific material defined, 61 behavioral goals have been formed and 5 learning plans prepared, for the experimental group learning by the traditional approach. For measuring students level of both groups in the engineering ornament skills, the researcher prepared a subjective skill test consist of 61 item as well as to skill performance. Questionnaire to measure end production level for engineering ornament skills. After applying pre-post test on the both research groups, analyzing results and process them statistically , it have been shown that there is a difference with statistical sign between degrees of the two groups and for the sake of the experimental group that learned the engineering ornament by the constructive learning approach. According to the results of research, the researcher reached to a number of conclusions and recommendations of subsequent researches complementary for the recent research. The current research identify the Constructivist learning effectiveness in helping students of family life and artistic professions Education Department acquiring Geometric ornament skills, and to achieve this aim the research chooses precisely as a site to apply its experiment 'The College Of Basic Education—Mustansiryia University— Baghdad', and specially choose the department of family life and artistic professions Education which is teach its student Arabic fonts and ornaments in grade one as it's the most suitable one. The department includes one division for grade one which, has 54 students. The researcher intended on distributing them randomly into two empirical controlled groups, and matched between their age, parent’s education, and previous experience using (T-test and chi2-sepuared test) the Differences was not of a statistical meaning in 0.05 levels. After defining the scientific subject, 60 behavioral aims were formulated and, 10 educational plans were prepared. Five of them use the Constructivist learning method, while the other five uses the traditional method. To recall the two groups’ students’ acquisition level of Geometric ornament skills, two exams (perception exam and skillfulness exam) of 30 multi – choice question items were prepared. As well as performance evaluation form was prepared. After applying the two exams before and after on the two research groups and statistically an analyzing and processing the results, there was an Obvious difference of a statistical meaning for the degree mean among the two research groups individuals in the interest of the groups who studied the Geometric ornament in Constructivist learning method. The research concluded teaching in Constructivist learning method increased the activity of the first grade students at Family life and artistic professions Education Department while acquiring Geometric ornament skills, and recommend to prepare teacher till they are able to use effective methods in teaching, and suggested to make this same study on another subject of artistic education and for another grade.
