The study used the current descriptive approach, and the questionnaire as a tool to collect data from the research sample, which consisted of 504 of faculty members to see the reality of professional development programs at Al Quds Open University in the light of the requirements of e-learning and global competitiveness of their point of view, as the method was used focus groups with of faculty members to answer some of the questions that relate to professional development programs for faculty members at the university, the study relied on strategic planning as a method explores the prospects for future educational potential and possible by SWOT.
