أثر التدريب على استراتيجيات حل المسألة الرياضية على تحصيل طلبة الصف الأول متوسط في مادة الرياضيات في مدينة حائل
The study sought to investigate the effect of training on mathematical problem solving strategies of first intermediate grade students on their achievements in Hail City. The sample consists of 55 students of the first intermediate grade at public schools in Hail Governorate. The study was conducted in the first semester of the year 2011/2012. The study used two classes randomly distributed by Closed Lots, as experimental and control groups. The researcher designed a training program to train the experimental group on specific strategies for solving mathematical problems. The control group was taught the mathematical content in the traditional method. The study results revealed significant differences between the means of the experimental and control groups in each of the immediate posttest and the late posttest, due to the training on problem solving strategies in favor of the late posttest. In the light of these results, the study offered a set of recommendations. (Published abstract)
