تقييم مستوى فاعلية مراكز الإعاقة العقلية الحكومية والخاصة في محافظة العاصمة عمان
This current study aimed to evaluate the efficiency level of governmental and special mental retarded centers at the capital governorate (Amman). The study sample included of 9 mental retarded centers, including 2 governmental and 7 special, the study instrument consisted of various dimensions as follows administration, parents participation, participation of teachers and workers at the centers, and what is occurring at the classroom, the curriculum, the centers characteristics, and the educational atmosphere, the study showed that evaluation of governmental and private centers efficiency was at higher level, Regarding of computing means and standard diversions of evaluation dimensions of the governmental and private mental retardation centers efficiency level at the capital governorate for all section it was the highest mean for the female teachers and the lowest mean for the centers characteristics. Also concerning about the differences of efficiency level of governmental and private mental retardation centers, it was conducted a (t) test for two separated samples in order to know the differences index in evaluation of the governmental. And special centers level. The highest mean was for the other workers, but for the administration field did not reach the index level. The highest means was for the private centers compared with the governmental centers, indicating to the existence of higher efficiency at the private centers compared with the governmental centers.
