This study aimed to reveal irrational thinking in relationship with depression among abused women in the AlMothalth Area. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers followed a linking survey method by using irrational thinking scale, Beck Depression Inventory and violence scale which was developed by the researchers. The study sample consisted of (93) abused women who were selected in the available method of the total study population. The results of the study showed that the level of depression among abused women was moderate on all items with the exception of two items which were low. The level of irrational thinking with abused women was moderate. There were no statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) in the level of irrational thinking with abused women due to the variables of career, the type of violence and educational level. In addition, the results showed that there was a significant correlation between depression and irrational thinking among abused women. (Published Abstract)
