The study aimed to find out the effectiveness of multiple choice tests in the evaluation for the eighth class pupils. The research community was composed of teachers of Khartoum Locality, Eastern Sector. The researcher used the descriptive approach and statistical method. The questionnaire applied to a simple random sample of teachers (One Hundred) teachers. The most important results as follows: 1) Objective tests have a high ability of discrimination. 2) Multiple choice tests need trained teacher to prepare. 3) Multiple choice tests do not help on innovation. 4) Multiple choice tests Facilitate fraud and guessing. 5) The multiple-choice test evaluates the teacher, the learner, curriculum and objectives. Among the most important recommendations made by the researcher: 1) Training teacher to prepare objective tests, focusing multi choice tests. 2) Preparing tests evaluate knowledge levels. 3) Using multi choice tests to evaluate curriculum, learner, and teachers. Researcher presented some proposals, including: 1) Effectiveness of Oral tests in the evaluation of first episode’s students. 2) Effectiveness of multiple choice tests in evaluating high school students. 3) Effectiveness of paring tests in evaluating first episode’s students.
