The research aims to detect the evidence of inspiration in Islamic educational thought, and the researcher in this study used the documentary method. The researcher in this study addressed the first question: what is the truth of inspiration in Islamic educational thought? It was presented in four sections: what is inspiration, sorts of inspiration, degrees of inspiration, and similarities with the concept of inspiration. As presented in the second question: what is the inspiration behind the trends of Islamic educational thought? It was presented through four sections: school of jurists and Hadith scholars, the school of Sufism, the school of Ahl Al-Kalaam, the school of philosophers, as presented in the third question: what is the evidence of inspiration in Islamic educational thought? It was presented through two sections: points of agreement and points of disagreement. The most prominent results of the study were: 1) the subject of inspiration has been of interest and confusion among Islamic scholars, and it has been the subject of widespread controversy among all of them because it relates to one of the sources of knowledge, and they agreed that it is true science. 2) Inspiration is one of the sources of knowledge that is not subject to experience, senses, or mental reasoning, which increases its complexity and incomprehension. Therefore, it cannot be denied on the one hand and is difficult to explain. The means of arriving at inspiration is not a rupture, but rather unclear, and this increases its ambiguity. 3) The inspiration comes only through sincerity of faith and continuous self-struggle, and that it be subject to the rules of Islamic law. 4) The people of knowledge have agreed that piety and worship are the greatest means of success, guidance of the heart, and inspiration, and that it is not an independent argument or evidence, but it is permissible for a person inspired by it to do it under certain conditions.
