This research highlights the impact of color and moiré filters on stimulating the reading activities of children, emphasizing their design and aesthetic elements in the books of children. Theoretically, it aims to enrich Arabic literature by evaluating the integration of these filters in books design as an interactive method to enhance reading engagement. Practically, the significance of the research was evident in incorporating filters into an interactive book aimed at encouraging young readers. A quasi-experimental approach was employed to evaluate the effectiveness of these filters in motivating children to read. Conducted in Medina, Saudi Arabia, the study involved a random sample of 34 primary school students (9 boys and 25 girls).the research utilized an interactive book featuring color and moiré filters, alongside an observation card, during school hours. The findings indicate that color and moiré filters significantly contribute to creating an interactive educational experience, encouraging children to complete reading activities. As post-reading responses, such as drawing, demonstrated that children had assimilated the desired knowledge and values, indicating their engagement with the content. Therefore, to enhance and promote reading among children, the researchers recommend that authors and publishers collaborate with specialized designers to integrate interactive elements, such as color and moiré filters, into Arabic books for children.
