هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين الذكاء الاجتماعي والميل للسلوك العدواني لدى طلبة جامعة اليرموك. تكونت عينة الدراسة من 385 طالبا وطالبة تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية. إستخدم في هذه الدراسة مقياس الذكاء الاجتماعي ومقياس الميل للسلوك العدواني. أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة سلبية دالة إحصائيا بين جميع أبعاد مقياس الذكاء الاجتماعي والميل للسلوك العدواني. وأشارت النتائج إلى عدم وجود اختلاف دال إحصائيا في قوة العلاقة الارتباطية بين الذكاء الاجتماعي والميل للسلوك العدواني تعزى لأثر الجنس وأثر الدخل. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود اختلاف دال إحصائيا في كون العلاقة الارتباطية بين الذكاء الاجتماعي والميل للسلوك العدواني تعزى لأثر التخصص وجاءت لصالح تخصصات العلوم الإنسانية. This study aimed to discover the relationship between the social intelligence and the tendency towards aggressive behavior of Yarmouk university students. The sample consisted of 385 mail and female students, randomly chosen. The social intelligence scale and the aggressive behavior tendency scale were used in this study. The results of the study pointed to the existence of a negative, statically significant relationship between all spectrums of social intelligence scale and aggressive behavior tendency. The second result of the study pointed to a lack of differences in the strength of the interrelationship between social intelligence and aggressive behavior tendency due to the impact of gender and the income level, finally the study also revealed the existence of a statistically significant differences in the strength of the inter-relationship between social intelligence and aggressive behavior tendency due to the impact of specialization area, in favor of social science.
