هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن اتجاهات الشباب الجامعي نحو ممارسة العمل التطوعي, وقد استخدم الباحث مدخلين من مداخل المنهج الوصفي هما: مدخل الدراسات الوثائقية لتوضيح الخلفية النظرية للعمل التطوعي، ومدخل المسح الاجتماعي بالعينة لاستقصاء اتجاهات الشباب الجامعي نحو العمل التطوعي. وقد تم توزيع استبانه على عينة قوامها 300 طالبة في كلية عجلون الجامعية. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج الآتية:1) اتسام اتجاهات أفراد عينة الدراسة بشكل عام بالإيجابية نحو العمل التطوعي مما يؤكد صحة الفرض الأول. 2) لا يوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين اتجاهات طالبات كلية عجلون الجامعية نحو العمل التطوعي تعزى لمتغيرات التخصص، والمستوى الدراسي، والعمر. The aim of this study was to explore the university youths’ attitude towards voluntary work. The researcher used the documentary approach to shed more light on the theory behind voluntary work. He also used the sample survey approach to find out more about the university youths’ attitudes towards voluntary work. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 300 students in Ajloun University College. The study found the following results: 1) The attitude of the study sample are generally positive toward voluntary work. This confirms the correctness of the first hypothesis. 2) No statistically significant differences between the attitudes of undergraduate students of the Faculty of Ajloun towards volunteer work were found due to the variables of specialization, academic level, and age.
