هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن فاعلية برنامج مقترح في العلوم قائم على نظرية تريز لتنميه الجدل العلمي والتحصيل المعرفي لدى تلاميذ المرحلة المتوسطة بدولة الكويت. لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، قامت الباحثة ببناء البرنامج المقترح وعرضه على مجموعة من السادة المحكمين والتأكد من صلاحية استخدامه. كما قامت الباحثة بتطوير مقياس مهارات الجدل العلمي (Ryu and Sandoval) واختبار التحصيل المعرفي من إعداد الباحثة. طبقت أدوات الدراسة على عينة مكونة من (46) طالبة من الصف السادس المتوسط، مقسمة إلى مجموعتين المجموعة التجريبية مكونة من (23) طالبة والمجموعة الضابطة والمكونة من (23) طالبة. أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى فاعلية البرنامج المقترح في العلوم القائم على نظرية "تريز" TRIZ في تنميه مهارات الجدل العلمي (تقديم الادعاء - تقديم الدليل - تقديم التبرير) لدى تلميذات الصف السادس المتوسط. أوصت الباحثة بضرورة إعادة النظر في تخطيط مناهج العلوم بالمرحلة المتوسطة بحيث تعمل على تنمية مهارات الجدل العلمي وتدريب معلمي العلوم على مبادئ نظرية تريز وتطوير برامج إعداد المعلم في ضوء مبادئ نظرية تريز. A suggested program in science based on the theory of "TRIZ" to develop argumentative science and cognitive achievement for intermediate stage pupils In Kuwait. The main objective of the study was to reveal the effectiveness of a proposed program in science based on the theory of "TRIZ" to develop the scientific argumentation and cognitive achievement among students of the intermediate stage in Kuwait. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher built the proposed program and presented it to a group of judges to ensure its validity of use; researcher also developed a scale of (Ryu and Sandoval) to measure skills of scientific argumentation, the study also based on a cognitive achievement test prepared by the researcher. The study tools were applied to a sample of (46) students from the eighth grade, divided into two groups: experimental group (23) students and the control group (23) students. The Research results indicated the effectiveness of the proposed program in science based on the theory of "TRIZ'’ in the development of the skills of scientific debate (introducing claim - provide evidence - provide justification) for students in the first grade of intermediate stage. The researcher recommended the need to review the planning process of science curricula at the intermediate stage so as to develop the skills of scientific argumentation, training science teachers on the principles of “TRIZ" theory and the development of teacher preparation programs in die scope of the principles of "TRIZ" theory.
