This study aimed to explore the role of knowledge management processes in improving instructional techniques in the intellectual education programs from the points of view of intellectual education female teachers in Al-Hasa city, and to examine whether the trend towards the four knowledge management processes (Acquisition, distribution, storage, and use) changes according to some demographic variables of the sample (Nature of practice, years of experience, academic qualification). To achieve the goals of the study, the descriptive approach and the questionnaire tool were used. The study sample included (145) female specialists who worked in programs and institutes of intellectual education in Al-Al-Hasa city. The study reached a number of results. The most important ones were the agreement of the study sample to a high degree on the positive effect of the four knowledge management processes in improving instructional techniques in the intellectual education programs, especially in the following aspects: discovering new instructional techniques, developing the curricula provided in the institutes of intellectual education, facilitating effective learning experiences, supporting designing individual educational plans for students with mental disabilities, contributing to create appropriate evaluation tools and techniques. The results also showed that the trend towards knowledge management processes is not affected by the demographic variables (years of experience, nature of practice, and academic qualification). In light of the results, the study provided some recommendations and suggestions about the importance of conducting more studies regarding the use of knowledge management processes as a strategy that could contribute to improve professional techniques, especially for educational practitioners in different majors.
