هدفت الدراسة إلى إعداد صورة معربة لمقياس العوامل الستة للشخصية (الصورة HEXACO–60) وإجراء دراسة سيكومترية للمقياس للتعرف على مدى صلاحية المقياس للبيئة السورية. بلغ عدد أفراد عينة الدراسة (1375) طالبا جامعيا. استخدمت الدراسة طرقا عدة للتأكد من صدق المقياس وثباته. أظهرت نتائجها قدرا مناسبا من الثبات والصدق للمقياس، وتم استخدام التحليل العاملي طريقة المكونات الأساسية للتأكد من الصدق العاملي للمقياس. أشارت نتائج البحث إلى استخلاص ستة عوامل للشخصية هي: (الصدق، التواضع، الانفعالية، الانبساط، الانفتاح على الخبرة، الطيبة، يقظة الضمير). This study aimed to prepare an Arabic copy for the six factors of personality scale (HEXACO-60). It also aimed to conduct a psychometric study for the scale to identify its validity on the Syrian environment. The sample of the study consisted of (1375) Syrian university students. The study relied on several methods to ensure the stability and reliability of the scale, it was found a high percentage of the validity and reliability, knowing that the method used to measure the reliability is the method of analysis for six components. The study results identified six characteristics of the personality: Honesty, humility, emotionality, extroversion, openness to experience, Agreeableness, and conscientiousness. (Published abstract)
