With English not being a native language of most countries in the middle east, most graduates are not proficient in this language. However, there is a rising internationalization and adoption of English as the official language in most business organizations. When talking about the different fields of technology, English language has its unequalled position and role in every domain, especially during unprecedented artificial intelligence (AI) colossal revolution. Mastery of precise English has become crucial in writing prompts for different AI podiums and applications. However, this situation can have a bearing on the employability of graduates from the Arabic countries in the middle east as a significant number of them are not proficient in the English language. Given this situation, the focus of this study was on the impact of English language skills on career mobility and development in the Arabic middle east. Relevant literature was reviewed, and the theory guiding the study was the understanding, skills, efficacy beliefs and metacognition (USEM) model. The study made use of pragmatism and both the exploratory and explanatory research paths. the target population was the staff and employees from the humanitarian aid organizations in Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. Cochrane’s formula was applied to compute the research sample, consisting of 385 people whilst 20 NGO managers were used for qualitative data. Questionnaires and in-depth interviews were used to gather data. A significant correlation between employee development (Ed) and career mobility was found. significant correlations were also established between employee development (ED) and contextual factors (CF); between employee development (ED) and the use of English language strategies (ELS); career mobility (CM) and contextual factors (CF); between career mobility (CM) and the use of English language strategies (ELS) and between contextual factors (CF) and the use of English language strategies (ELS). Regression findings revealed a low but significant relationship between English language proficiency and employee development in Arabic humanitarian aid organizations. Significant relationship between English language proficiency and employee employability was found, and strong relationship between English language proficiency and career mobility. A significant and strong relationship between employee English-language proficiency in Arabian humanitarian aid organizations. No significant relationship was found between the use of English language proficiency strategies on career mobility and development in the studied Arabian humanitarian aid organizations. The study thus recommended for prioritization of English language in universities and vocational learning programs and enhanced professional English lessons for employees and mandatory English-language learning policies.
