This study aimed to determine the extent of the quality of the general goals of teaching Sharia sciences at the intermediate stage contained in the curriculum document of the Sharia sciences subjects for the primary and intermediate stages in general education from the viewpoint of educational supervisors; and to identify the difficulties that prevent the achievement of those goals and future goals that could be added in light of contemporary transformations. The researcher used the questionnaire as a study tool and the descriptive approach as a method of study. The study sample consisted of (64) supervisors of Sharia sciences subjects in Riyadh. The study showed that the quality of the goals was with a high percentage in terms of their formulation, suitability, comprehensiveness, nature, implementation possibility, and flexibility. The study also showed that there are difficulties in achieving the goals, some of which were with a high percentage and are related to the objectives, the school system, the teacher, and the learner, and other difficulties were with a medium percentage and are related to the subjects of Islamic Education and the educational supervisor. In the light of the findings, the researcher recommends the activation of the general goals of teaching Sharia sciences at the intermediate stage contained in the curriculum document of the Sharia sciences subjects for the primary and intermediate stages in general education by adopting them as part of the quality indicators of the educational system concerning the quality of educational outcomes and the job performance of the teacher and educational supervisor. The researcher also recommends that the difficulties that prevent the achievement of these goals are overcome and that the parties concerned work together to minimize the impact of these difficulties.
