تمت هذه الدراسة لفهم تأثير خطاب الكراهية على الطلبة الجامعيين في قسم علوم الإعلام والاتصال على موقع الفايسبوك. تم جمع البيانات من خلال استبانة توزعت على الطلبة لتقييم آرائهم وتصوراتهم حول الموضوع. توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: الأثر على مستوى الوعي: أظهرت النتائج أن نسبة عالية من الطلبة توافق على أن خطاب الكراهية على موقع الفايسبوك يؤثر في زيادة الوعي بمشكلة خطاب الكراهية وتأثيره السلبي على المجتمع. الأثر على السلوك والتواصل: كشفت الدراسة أن خطاب الكراهية يؤثر في زيادة العنف اللفظي والسلوكي بين الطلبة، وقد يؤدي إلى انحرافات سلوكية تؤثر على التواصل الإيجابي بينهم. الأثر على المشاركة والمشاعر: أوضحت الدراسة أن خطاب الكراهية يؤثر في انخفاض مشاركة الطلبة في الشؤون العامة ويزعزع الثقة والانتماء الاجتماعي، مما يؤدي إلى انعزالهم وعدم مشاركتهم بنشاط في المجتمع الجامعي. الأثر على الاستجابة القانونية: أظهرت النتائج أن هناك موافقة قوية من الطلبة على تفعيل القوانين والتشريعات التي تجرم خطاب الكراهية على موقع الفايسبوك، وتقديم العقوبات المناسبة للمنشورات التحريضية بناء على هذه النتائج، يمكن التوصل إلى أن تعرض الطلبة الجامعيين في قسم علوم الإعلام والاتصال لخطاب الكراهية على موقع الفايسبوك يؤثر سلبا على مستوى الوعي والسلوك والتواصل والمشاركة. ينبغي اتخاذ إجراءات جادة لمكافحة خطاب الكراهية وتشديد الرقابة على المحتوى المنشور، بالإضافة إلى تفعيل القوانين والتشريعات لمعاقبة المنشئين لهذا النوع من المنشورات. إن فهم هذا الأثر واتخاذ التدابير اللازمة يساهم في بناء بيئة جامعية آمنة ومتسامحة، حيث يمكن للطلبة أن يستفيدوا من تجربتهم الأكاديمية بشكل إيجابي ويساهموا في بناء مجتمع متناغم ومتعايش. This study was done to understand the impact of hate speech on university students in the department of media and communication sciences on Facebook. The data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to the students to assess their opinions and perceptions on the subject. The study came to the following conclusions: The results showed that a high percentage of students agree that hate speech on Facebook affects increasing awareness of the problem of hate speech and its negative impact on society. Impact on behavior and communication: the study revealed that hate speech affects the increase in verbal and behavioral violence among students, and may lead to behavioral deviations that affect positive communication between them. Impact on participation and feelings: the study showed that hate speech affects the low participation of students in public affairs and destabilizes trust and social belonging, leading to isolation and lack of active participation in the university community. Impact on the legal response: the results showed that there is a strong agreement from students to activate the laws and legislations that criminalize hate speech on Facebook, and provide appropriate penalties for inflammatory publications based on these results, it can be concluded that the exposure of university students in the department of media and communication sciences to hate speech on Facebook negatively affects the level of awareness, behavior, communication and participation. Serious measures should be taken to combat hate speech and tighten censorship of published content, as well as activate laws and legislation to punish the creators of this type of publication. Understanding this impact and taking the necessary measures contributes to building a safe and tolerant university environment, where students can benefit positively from their academic experience and contribute to building a harmonious and coexisting society.
