نظرًا لأهمية الإدارة التربوية، وعِظم ما تقوم به من أدوار في حياة الفرد، وخدمة المجتمع، أتى هذا الكتاب ليتناول - تعريفًا وتأصيلًا، مدارس الفكر الإداري التربوي، وأبرز اتجاهاته المؤثرة؛ أملًا في أن يعين رجال التربية على إدراك أعمق لمسئولياتهم من أبعاد، ووفق رؤىً مختلفة. ولهذا استخدم المؤلِف المنهج التحليلي التفسيري-باعتباره المنهج الأمثل، لدراسة وتتبع وتطور علوم الإدارة، قبل أن تنفصل العلوم السياسية، ثم تخرج من ركوتها علوم الإدارة التربوية في منتصف القرن العشري. هذا، وقد اعتمد المؤلف مسعاه على دراسة، وتحليل الأدبيات ذات العلاقة من مصادرها الأولية؛ بأمهات الكتب، والموسوعات الإدارية المتخصصة، فضلًا على الأعمال الأصلية لرواد علوم الإدارة منذ أواسط القرن الثامن عشر. هذا، وقد قُسِّم الكتاب إلى تسعة فصول تناولت مدارس ونظريات الفكر التربوي، وأبرز الاتجاهات الإدارية المؤثرة على الإدارة التربوية، مع بيان كيف يمكن تبني فلسفة وفكر كل مدرسة إدارية عمليًا في الحياة التربوية. واختتم الكتاب عرضه بالتقديم للنظرية الإسلامية في الإدارة، وبيان كيف يمكن تطبيقها في الممارسات التربوية، وذلك وفق عناوين الفصول في التبويب التالي: الفصل الأول: الإدارة والحياة التربوية؛ الفصل الثاني: الإدارة التربوية؛ الفصل الثالث: نظريات الإدارة التربوية وروادها الأوائل؛ الفصل الرابع: المدرسة الكلاسيكية والإدارة التربوية؛ الفصل الخامس: مدارس الفكر الإداري السلوكي؛ الفصل السادس: المدارس الإدارية الحديثة؛ الفصل السابع: أنماط الإدارة التربوية وكفايتها المهنية؛ الفصل الثامن: الاتجاهات المؤثرة في الإدارة التربوية؛ الفصل التاسع: النظرية الإسلامية في الإدارة؛ قائمة المراجع، واحتوت على (554) مرجعًا. In view of the importance of educational administration and the significant roles it plays in the life of the individual and in serving society, this book addresses the schools of educational administrative thought—by way of definition and theoretical grounding—as well as their most influential trends. It is hoped that the book will help educators gain a deeper understanding of the various dimensions of their responsibilities and approach them from different perspectives. To this end, the author employed the analytical-interpretive method, considering it the most appropriate approach for studying and tracing the development of administrative sciences before political science became an independent field, and before the sciences of educational administration emerged from their stagnation in the mid-twentieth century. In pursuing this aim, the author relied on the study and analysis of relevant literature from primary sources, including major reference works, specialized administrative encyclopedias, and the original writings of the pioneers of administrative sciences since the mid-eighteenth century. The book is divided into nine chapters, which examine the schools and theories of educational thought, as well as the most influential administrative trends affecting educational administration. It also explains how the philosophy and thought of each administrative school can be practically adopted in educational life.
