The article re-examines the significance of transferring learning from in-service training to work places utilizing a critical perspective. Reviewed literature exposes that evaluating post-training behavior or learning transfer has double benefits of measuring trainee’s skills development and ascertaining individual strengths or weaknesses. The author attempts to study the training transfer practices, significance of transferring training, and how to transfer training using a mix-method research and surveying hundred professionals. Recommendations include evaluating transfer and providing necessary support to the trainees, to ensure a positive learning environment leading to changed work behavior and better performances.
