هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على إدمان الإنترنت وعلاقته بقلق المستقبل لدى عينة قوامها (160) طالب من طلاب جامعة الأمير سطام بن عبد العزيز من كلية الآداب والعلوم بوادي الدواسر، واستعانت الدراسة بمقياس إدمان الإنترنت (إعداد حسام الدين عزب وآخرون، 2016)، ومقياس قلق المستقبل (إعداد محمود سعيد، 2004). أسفرت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن نسبة (80%) من الطلاب تروح مستوى إدمانهم على الإنترنت بين المتوسط والمنخفض، نسبة (20%) يعانون من ارتفاع مستوى إدمان الإنترنت لديهم. ونسبة (84.4%) من الطلاب تراوح مستوى قلق المستقبل لديهم المتوسط والمنخفض في حين أن نسبة (15.6%) من الطلاب يعانون من ارتفاع مستوى قلق المستقبل لديهم، وهناك علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بين إدمان الإنترنت وقلق المستقبل لدى طلاب الجامعة. ووجود فروق بين المستويات الأولى والمستويات المتقدمة في إدمان الإنترنت وقلق المستقبل في اتجاه طلاب المستويات الأولى. كما توجد فروق بين طلاب التخصصات العلمية والأدبية في إدمان الإنترنت في اتجاه طلاب التخصصات العلمية. وجود فروق بين طلاب الريف وطلاب المدينة في إدمان الإنترنت، في اتجاه طلاب المدينة. The study aimed to identify Internet addiction and its relationship to future anxiety among a sample of (160) students from Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, College of Arts and Sciences in Wadi Al Dawaser. The study used the Internet addiction scale prepared by Hussam Al-Din Azab and others (2016), and the future anxiety scale prepared by: Mahmoud Saeed (2004). The results of the study revealed that (80%) of the students said their internet addiction level is between averages and low, (80%) suffer from a high level of Internet addiction. The percentage (84.4) of students ranged between the level of future anxiety, they have medium and low, while (15.6%) of students suffer from high level of future anxiety they have, and there is a positive correlation between Internet addiction and future anxiety among university students. And there are differences between the first and advanced levels in Internet addiction and the future anxiety towards the first level students. There are also differences between students of scientific and literary disciplines in Internet addiction towards students of scientific disciplines. There are differences between rural and city students in Internet addiction, in the direction of city students. (Published abstract)
