هدف البحث إلى: 1) التعرف على مستوى التفكير الإيجابي ومستوى الطموح لدى مدرسي ومدرسات التربية البدنية في محافظة نينوى. 2) التعرف على مستوى التفكير الإيجابي ومستوى الطموح لدى مدرسي ومدرسات التربية البدنية في محافظة نينوى تبعا لمتغيرات الجنس (ذكور - إناث). 3) التعرف على العلاقة بين التفكير الإيجابي ومستوى الطموح لدى مدرسي ومدرسات التربية البدنية في محافظة نينوى. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي بالأسلوب المسحي والارتباطي لملاءمته وطبيعة البحث. ويتمثل مجتمع البحث الأصلي من (518) مدرس ومدرسة، واشتملت عينة الدراسة على (239) مدرس ومدرسة وتم اختيار العينة بالطريقة العمدية. استخدم الباحث برنامج الحاسوب الآلي (SPSS). وتوصل الباحث إلى النتائج الآتية: 1) يتسم التفكير الإيجابي لدى مدرسي ومدرسات التربية البدنية في محافظة نينوى بالمستوى المرتفع. 2) يتسم مستوى الطموح لدى مدرسي ومدرسات التربية البدنية في محافظة نينوى بالمستوى المرتفع. 3) يتسم التفكير الإيجابي ومستوى الطموح لدى مدرسي التربية البدنية بالمستوى المرتفع، تبعا لمتغيرات الجنس (ذكور - إناث). 4) توجد علاقة بين التفكير الإيجابي ومستوى الطموح لدى مدرسي ومدرسات التربية البدنية في محافظة نينوى. The aims of the research are: 1) Identifying the level of positive thinking and ambition among male and female physical education teachers of in Nineveh Governorate. 2) Identifying the level of positive thinking and the level of ambition of physical education teachers in Nineveh Governorate according to gender. 3) Identifying the relationship between positive thinking and the level of ambition among male and female teachers of physical education in Nineveh Governorate. The researcher used the descriptive approach using the survey and correlation method, and the researcher used the computer program (SPSS). The researcher reached the following results: 1) The positive thinking of physical education teachers in Nineveh Governorate is characterized by a high level. 2) The level of ambition of physical education teachers in Nineveh Governorate is characterized by a high level. 3) According to the positive thinking and level of ambition of physical education teachers are characterized by a high level. 4) There is a relationship between positive thinking and the level of ambition among male and female teachers of physical education in Nineveh Governorate. Recommendations and Suggestions: 1) Urging male and female teachers in the education directorates of the ministry of education and school sports activity to organize educational lectures on the concepts of positive thinking and the level of ambition. 2) Conducting a similar study for other segments in the society (employees, university professors, lawyers).
