هدفت الدراسة إلى التحقق من مدى فاعلية برنامج تأهيل مهني قائم على التدريب على بعض المهارات المهنية لدى عينة من الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة الذهنية البسيطة لتأهيلهم لسوق العمل. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (6) أطفال من ذوي الإعاقة الذهنية البسيطة تتراوح نسبة ذكائهم بين (55-70)، تراوحت أعمارهم بين (13-17) سنة. الأدوات التي استخدمتها الدراسة مقياس المهارات المهنية لذوي الإعاقة العقلية البسيطة وبرنامج تأهيل مهني لتنمية بعض المهارات المهنية للأطفال المعاقين عقليا. توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى فاعلية البرنامج في تنمية بعض المهارات المهنية لإعداد بعض المشروبات وتجهيز وإعداد بعض المأكولات لدى الأفراد ذوي الإعاقة العقلية البسيطة حيث أن هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.01) بين القياس القبلي والبعدي لمقياس التأهيل المهني للأطفال ذوي الإعاقة الذهنية البسيطة. وبناء على النتائج، أوصت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات منها الاهتمام بالتأهيل المهني وربطه خلال السنوات الأخيرة ببيئة عمل فعلية بإحدى المصانع أو المؤسسات لتأهيل الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة الذهنية لسوق العمل. The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a vocational rehabilitation program based on training on some vocational skills to a sample of children with mild intellectual disabilities to rehabilitate them for the labor market. The study sample consisted of (6) children with mild intellectual disabilities whose IQ ranged between (55-70) and their ages ranged between (13-17) years. A vocational skills scale for people with mild mental disabilities and a vocational rehabilitation program to develop some vocational skills for mentally disabled children. The findings of the study showed the program effectiveness in developing some vocational skills in making some drinks and preparing and making some food for children with mild mental disabilities, as there are statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) between the pre and post evaluation on the vocational rehabilitation scale for children with mild intellectual disability. Based on the findings, the study concluded a set of recommendations, including attention to vocational rehabilitation and a combining it during recent years with an actual work environment in one of the factories or institutions to rehabilitate children with intellectual disabilities for the labor market.
