هدفت الدراسة التعرف على أثر أنموذج التعلم المعرفي في اكتساب المفاهيم لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي في مادة الاجتماعيات. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة وضع الباحث الفرضية الصفرية، وأخضعها للتجريب، تكونت عينة الدراسة من (66) تلميذا موزعين على المجموعتين التجريبية بواقع (34) تلميذا، و(32) تلميذا للمجموعة الضابطة، وقد كافأ الباحث بين المجموعتين في عدد من المتغيرات، أعد الباحث اختبار اكتساب المفاهيم مكونا من (48) فقرة، متحققا من صدقها وثباتها، بدأ الباحث بتطبيق التجربة في مدرسة جبل طارق يوم الأربعاء المصادف 2/10/2019 وأنهى تجربته بتاريخ 13/1/2020 المصادف يوم الإثنين، وعند معاملة بيانات الدراسة إحصائيا أظهرت الآتي: يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) بين متوسط درجات التلاميذ في مجموعتي البحث (التجريبية والضابطة) في اكتساب المفاهيم ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية. وفي ضوء نتائج البحث واستكمالا له يقترح إجراء دراسة تجريبية مماثلة للدراسة الحالية في مراحل وصفوف دراسية أُخرى.
