هدفت البحث إلى معرفة مدى فعالية برنامج تدريبي قائم على إدارة الذات فى تحسين اللغة التعبيرية والحد من صعوبات التعلم الاجتماعية لدى الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة العقلية البسيطة، وشارك في هذا البحث (19) طفل ذوي إعاقة عقلية بسيطة ممن تتراوح أعمارهم ما بين (8-10) عام بمتوسط عمري قدره (9.1) سنوات وانحراف معياري قدره (0.82) عام، ويتراوح معامل الذكاء لديهم ما بين (55-70) بمتوسط معامل ذكاء قدره (62.26) وانحراف معياري قدره (3.94)، وتم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين: مجموعة تجريبية مكونة من (10) أطفال، ومجموعة ضابطة مكونة من (9) أطفال. استخدم الباحثان مقياس استانفورد بنيه الطبعة الخامسة (تعريب محمود أبو النيل، ومحمد محمد، وعبد الموجود عبد السميع، 2011)، ومقياس اللغة التعبيرية (إعداد الباحثان)، ومقياس صعوبات التعلم الاجتماعية (إعداد الباحثان). أسفرت نتائج البحث عن: وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي رتب درجات أطفال المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة في القياس البعدى على مقياس اللغة التعبيرية وأبعاده الفرعية لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي رتب درجات أطفال المجموعة التجريبية في القياسين القبلي والبعدي على مقياس اللغة التعبيرية وأبعاده الفرعية لصالح القياس البعدي، بينما أسفرت نتائج البحث عن عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي رتب درجات أطفال المجموعة التجريبية في القياسين البعدي والتتبعي على مقياس اللغة التعبيرية. كما أسفرت نتائج البحث عن: وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي رتب درجات أطفال المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة في القياس البعدي على مقياس صعوبات التعلم الاجتماعية وأبعاده الفرعية لصالح المجموعة الضابطة، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي رتب درجات أطفال المجموعة التجريبية في القياسين القبلي والبعدي على مقياس صعوبات التعلم الاجتماعية وأبعاده الفرعية لصالح القياس القبلي. بينما أسفرت نتائج البحث عن عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي رتب درجات أطفال المجموعة التجريبية في القياسين البعدي والتتبعي على مقياس صعوبات التعلم الاجتماعية. The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a training program based on self-management in improving expressing language and reducing social learning disabilities among children with mild mental retardation. Participate in this research (19) child with mild mental retardation between the ages of (8-10) year with an average age of (10.45) years and a standard deviation of (0.83) year, and average IQ was (55 - 70) With an average IQ of (62.26) and a standard deviation of (3.94) divided into two groups: experimental group which consisted of (10) children and control group which consisted of (9) children author used: Stanford Bennyh scale fifth edition (translated by Mahmoud Abu Nile, Mohammed Mohammed and Abdul Muqayed Abdul Samie, 2011), expressing language scale (prepared by the author), social learning disabilities scale (prepared by the author). The results of the study found that: there are statistically significant differences between the mean degree ranks of experimental group and control group on expressing language scale and its sub-dimensions for experimental group. The results also found that there are statistically significant differences between the mean degree ranks of experimental group in pre and post-test on expressing language scale and its sub-dimensions for post-test, while the results found that there are no statistically significant differences between the mean degree ranks of the experimental group in pre-test and follow-up test on expressing language scale, and there are statistically significant differences between the mean degree ranks of experimental group and control group on Social learning disabilities scale and its sub-dimensions for control group. The results also found that there are statistically significant differences between the mean degree ranks of experimental group in pre and post-test on social learning disabilities scale and its sub-dimensions for pre-test, while the results found that there are no statistically significant differences between the mean degree ranks of the experimental group in pre-test and follow-up test on social learning disabilities scale.
