يهدف البحث إلى تقدير الخصائص السيكومترية لمقياس الذكاء الوجداني لدى عينة من طلاب الجامعة. تكونت العينة من (617) طالبا وطالبة من طلاب الجامعة، وتم التحقق من الشروط السيكومترية للمقياس باستخدام الاتساق الداخلي، والصدق العاملي التوكيدي للتحقق من صحتها، والصدق التلازمي، وكذلك التحقق من الثبات باستخدام طريقتي ألفا كرونباخ، والتجزئة النصفية. النتائج التي تم الحصول عليها توفر بيانات عن مدى ملائمة هذا المقياس لقياس الذكاء الوجداني عند الشباب. The research aims to study the psychometric properties of the emotional intelligence scale among a sample of university students. The study sample consisted of male and female university students 617 participants, appropriate psychometric measures were used for the verification of the psychometric properties for the emotional intelligence scale, emotional intelligence internal consistency and confirmatory factor analysis for validity, and Alpha Cronbach and split half for reliability the obtained results provides data for the suitability of this scale to measure emotional intelligence at youth.
