يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على أثر استراتيجية اليد المنخفضة في تنمية التفكير التأملي لدى طلبة الصف الثاني المتوسط في مادة التاريخ. تم صياغة الفرضية الآتية: لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) بين متوسط درجات طلبة المجموعة التجريبية التي درست وفق استراتيجية اليد المنخفضة ومتوسط درجات طلبة المجموعة الضابطة التي درست وفق الطريقة الاعتيادية. تكونت عينة البحث من (60) طالبا من طلبة الصف الثاني المتوسط، أما أداة البحث فقد تم إعداد اختبار التفكير التأملي وتكون من (30) فقرة، وباستخدام الوسائل الإحصائية: (الاختبار الثائي لعينتين مستقلتين - الاختبار الثائي لعينتين مترابطتين - معادلة صعوبة الفقرة - ومعادلة تمييز الفقرة)، وبعد معالجة البيانات إحصائيا أظهرت النتائج الآتي: تفوق المجموعة التجريبية التي درست وفق استراتيجية اليد المنخفضة على المجموعة الضابطة في اختبار التفكير التأملي. وفي ضوء النتائج تمت صياغة عدد من الاستنتاجات والتوصيات والمقترحات. The research aims to identify: The effect of the low hand strategy in developing reflective thinking among second-grade students in the middle school in history. There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who studied according to the low hand strategy and the average scores of the control group students who studied according to the usual method. The research sample consists of (60) students of the second intermediate grade. As for the research tool, the reflective thinking test consists of (30) items which are examined through statistical means: (the two-way test for two independent samples - the two-test for two correlated samples - the paragraph difficulty equation - the paragraph discrimination equation. The research concludes that the experimental group outperforms the control group in the reflective thinking test. (Published abstract)
