هدف البحث إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين الاعتماد على الشاشة والتأخر النمائي والسلوك العدواني لدى أطفال الروضة من وجهة نظر الأمهات، وكذلك الكشف عن الفروق بين عينة البحث في الاعتماد على الشاشة باختلاف متغير النوع (ذكور - إناث) ووقت الشاشة (أقل من أربع ساعات - أكثر من أربع ساعات). تكونت عينة البحث من (100) من أمهات الأطفال الذين تراوحت أعمارهم بين (2-4) سنوات بمتوسط قدرة (3.14) وانحراف معياري (0.89). طبق عليهم مقياس الاعتماد على الشاشة (إعداد Abdul Hadi et al, 2022؛ ترجمة وتعريب الباحثة)، ومقياس التأخر النمائي (إعداد عبدالسميع، 2023)، ومقياس السلوك العدواني للأطفال (إعداد الباحثة). أسفرت نتائج البحث عن وجود علاقة سالبة دالة إحصائيا بين الاعتماد على الشاشة وجميع جوانب مقياس التأخر النمائي عند مستوى دلالة (0.01) ماعدا جانب المهارات الجسدية. أظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة سالبة دالة إحصائيا بين الدرجة الكلية لمقياس الاعتماد على الشاشة والدرجة الكلية لجانب المهارات الجسدية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05). وجود علاقة موجبة دالة إحصائيا بين الاعتماد على الشاشة والسلوك العدواني عند مستوى دلالة (0.01) لدى عينة البحث. كما أوضحت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لدى عينة البحث في الاعتماد علي الشاشة ترجع لمتغير وقت الشاشة (أكثر من 4 ساعات). بينما لم تسفر عن وجود فروق في الاعتماد على الشاشة باختلاف متغير النوع (ذكور – إناث) فيما عدا البعد الثاني (المشكلات السلوكية المرتبطة باستخدام الشاشة) حيث الفرق دال عند مستوى (0.05) في اتجاه الإناث. أسفرت النتائج أيضا عن أنه يمكن التنبؤ بالاعتماد علي الشاشة من خلال متغيرات البحث (التأخر النمائي - السلوك العدواني) لدى أطفال الروضة. The aim of the research is to identify the relationship between screen dependency, developmental delay, and aggressive behavior among kindergarten children from mothers perspective, as well as to reveal differences between the research sample in screen dependency depending on the gender variable "males and females" and screen time "less than four hours/ more than four hours". The research sample consisted of (100) mothers of children whose ages ranged between (2-4) years, with an average of (3.14) and a standard deviation of (0.89). The screen dependence scale (prepared by Abdul Hadi et al, (2022); translated by the researcher), the developmental delay scale (prepared by Abdel Samie, 2023), and the aggressive behavior scale for children (prepared by the researcher). The research resulted that there is statistically significant negative relationship between dependence on the screen and all aspects of the developmental delay scale at a significant level of (0.01) except the physical skills aspect. The results showed that there was a statistically significant negative relationship between the total score of the screen dependence scale and the total score of the physical skills aspect at a significance level (0.05) it also resulted statistically significant a positive relationship between screen dependence and aggressive behavior at a significance level of (0.01) among the research sample. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences among the research sample in screen dependence due to the screen time variable "more than 4 hours", while there were no differences in Screen dependency according to the gender variable "males and females", except for the second dimension “behavioral problems associated with screen use”, where the difference is significant at the (0.05) level toward females. The results also revealed that screen dependency can be predicted through the research variables (developmental delay – aggressive behavior) among kindergarten children. (Published abstract)
