هدفت الدراسة إلى التحقق من الكفاءة السيكومترية لمقياس السلوك الاكتنازي لدى عينة من الشباب الجامعي. تكونت العينة من (335) من الشباب الجامعي من الجنسين، وتكون المقياس من 24 عبارة موزعة على خمسة أبعاد هم: (المعتقدات الخاطئة حول طبيعة الأشياء، القصور في معالجة المعلومات، التعلق العاطفي بالأشياء، السلوك التجنبي، الاقتناء والفوضى). تم التحقق من الكفاءة السيكومترية للمقياس باستخدام التحليل العاملي التوكيدي للتحقق من صدق المقياس، كما تم تستخدام معامل ألفا كرونباخ وطريقة التجزئة النصفية للتحقق من ثبات المقياس، كما تم استخدام الاتساق الداخلي. أوضحت النتائج تميز المقياس بدرجة عالية من الصدق والثبات وصلاحيته للتطبيق على عينة البحث. The study aimed to verify the psychometric efficiency of the hoarding behavior scale among a sample of university youth. The sample consisted of (335) of University Youth, and the scale consisted of 24 statements spread over five dimensions: (mistaken beliefs about possessions, information processing deficits, emotional attachment about possessions, avoidance behavior, acquiring and clutter). The psychometric efficiency of the scale was verified using factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, Cronbach alpha factor stability coefficient, and half split factor method, and internal consistency. The psychometric characteristics of the scale has been tested and results proved it to be valid, stable and applicable to likes of the study sample, so the results verified the effectiveness of avoidant personality disorder scale.
