هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى قابلية التعلم الذاتي لدى الطلبة العاديين بقسم المحاسبة عربي، والطلبة الصم بقسم السكرتارية التنفيذية بالجامعة العربية المفتوحة، المملكة العربية السعودية، الرياض. والكشف عن الفروق لدى الطلبة العاديين بقسم المحاسبة عربي والطلبة الصم بقسم السكرتارية التنفيذية في مستوى قابلية التعلم الذاتي والكشف عن الفروق في مستوى قابلية التعلم الذاتي وفقا للنوع (ذكور - إناث). تكونت عينة الدراسة من (220) طالبا وطالبة من الطلبة العاديين والطلبة الصم. استخدم الباحث مقياس قابلية التعلم الذاتي (إعداد الباحث). توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن مستوى قابلية طلبة الجامعة العربية المفتوحة في المملكة العربية السعودية للتعلم الذاتي كان مرتفع سواء كانوا طلبة عاديين أو طلبة صم، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) فأقل في مستوى قابلية التعلم الذاتي باختلاف النوع (ذكور - إناث)، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) فأقل في مستوى قابلية التعلم الذاتي لدى الطلبة العاديين والطلبة الصم. The study aimed to identify the level of aptitude for self-learning among normal-hearing students in the Arabic Accounting Department and deaf students in the Executive Secretarial Department at Arab Open University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia- Saudi Arabia (Riyadh). Also, the study aimed to reveal the differences among the normal hearing students in the Arabic Accounting Department and the deaf students in the Executive Secretarial Department in the level of aptitude for self-learning and to reveal the differences in the level of aptitude for self-learning according to gender (males - females). The study sample consisted of (220) male and female students, both normal-hearing and deaf students. The researcher used the self-learning aptitude scale prepared by the researcher. The results of the study concluded that the level of aptitude of students at Arab Open University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for self-learning was high, whether they were normal-hearing students or deaf students. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) or less in the level of self-learning aptitude according to gender (males and females), and there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) or less in the level of self-learning aptitude among students of normal hearing and deaf ones.
