يهدف البحث التعرف على مستوى الشخصية الارتيابية وعلاقتها بمستوى الطموح الأكاديمي وفق متغير (الجنس - التخصص)، حيث بلغ حجم العينة (400) طالب وطالبة من طلبة جامعة كركوك للعام الدراسي (2020-2021). ولتحقيق أهداف البحث أعد الباحث مقياسا للشخصية الارتيابية ومقياسا لمستوى الطموح الأكاديمي. توصلت الدراسة لإلى النتائج الآتية: إن طلبة الجامعة لديهم مستوى أقل من المتوسط من الشخصية الارتيابية. وجود فروق تبعا لمتغير الجنس لصالح الذكور. لا توجد فروق تعود للتخصص، يتمتع طلبة الجامعة بمستوى طموح أكاديمي. لا يوجد فروق يعود لمتغير الجنس، ووجود فروق في متغير التخصص لصالح العلمي. وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين الشخصية الارتيابية ومستوى الطموح الأكاديمي. The research aims to identify the level of suspicious personality and its relationship to the level of academic ambition according to the variable (sex-specialization), where the sample consisted of (400) students at Kirkuk University for the academic year (2020-2021). To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher prepared a measure of the suspicious personality and a measure of the level of academic ambition, and the study reached the following results: that university students have a lower than average level of suspicious personality, there are differences depending on the sex change in favour of males; there are no differences due to specialization, enjoy University students at an academic level of ambition; there are no differences due to the sex change, and there are differences in the variable of specialization in favor of scientific major; the existence of a correlation between the suspicious personality and the level of academic.
