هدف البحث تحديد علاقة الخصائص الإبداعية لدى رؤساء الأقسام العلمية بالرضا عن العمل لتدريسيي جامعة الموصل. تكونت عينة البحث من (448) تدريسيا، اختيروا عشوائيا من (23) كليه بواقع (13) كلية ذات تخصص علمي و (10) كليات ذات تخصص إنساني ممن لهم خدمة مع رئيس القسم مدة لا تقل عن سنتين. طبق الباحثان أداتين إحدهما للتعرف على الخصائص الإبداعية لدى رؤساء الأقسام العلمية، والثانية للتعرف على مستوى الرضا عن العمل لدى تدريسيي جامعة الموصل. بعد استخراج صدقهما وثباتهما، أظهرت نتائج البحث: 1) أن مستوى الخصائص الإبداعية لدى رؤساء الأقسام العلمية كان فوق الوسط أي هنالك إيجابية الخصائص الإبداعية لديهم. 2) تبين أن مستوى الرضا عن العمل لدى تدريسيي الجامعة كان فوق الوسط. 3) وجود علاقة إيجابية إحصائيا بين الخصائص الإبداعية لرؤساء الأقسام العلمية ورضا التدريسيين عن عملهم. واستنادا إلى النتائج التي تم توصل إليها، وضع الباحثان عددا من التوصيات، منها: 1) إعداد دورات تدريبية لتحفيز العاملين في الميدان التربوي وليس فقط رؤساء الأقسام لحثهم على الإبداع. 2) إعداد دورات تدريبية تؤكد على تنمية القدرات الإبداعية للعاملين في المؤسسات التربوية الأخرى. 3) تهيئة برامج متنوعة تؤكد على موضوع الرضا عن العمل. قدم الباحثان مجموعة من المقترحات، منها: 1) إجراء دراسة مماثلة في ميدان التربية في المؤسسات التربوية الأخرى كالمدارس والمعاهد. 2) إجراء دراسة تؤكد على الخصائص الإبداعية وعلاقتها بالكفاءة المهنية لدى مديري المعاهد التقنية. 3) الرضا عن العمل وعلاقته بالقدرة على اتخاذ القرار لمديري المدارس الإعدادية في مركز محافظة نينوى. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship of the creative characteristics of the heads of scientific departments to job satisfaction for the staff of the University of Mosul. The research sample consisted of (448) teachers, who were chosen randomly from (23) colleges (13) colleges with a scientific specialization and (10) colleges with a humanitarian specialization who had service with the head of the department for a period of no less than two years. The researchers applied two tools, one of them to identify the characteristics creativity among the heads of scientific departments, and the second to identify the level of job satisfaction among the teachers at the University of Mosul, after extracting their sincerity and stability. The search results showed: 1) The level of the creative characteristics of the heads of the scientific departments was above the average, meaning there are positive creative characteristics for them. 2) It was found that the level of job satisfaction among university teachers was above the average.3- The results of the research showed that there is a statistically positive relationship between the creative characteristics of heads of scientific departments and the satisfaction of teachers with their work. Based on the results that were reached, the researchers made a number of recommendations, including: 1) Preparing training courses to motivate workers in the educational field, not just department heads, to urge them to be creative. 2) Preparing training courses that emphasize the development of the creative capabilities of workers in other educational institutions. 3) Creating a variety of programs emphasizing the subject of job satisfaction. We put a number of suggestions: 1) Conducting a similar study in the field of education in other educational institutions such as schools and institutes. 2) Conducting a study that emphasizes the creative characteristics and their relationship to the professional competence of directors of technical institutes. 3) Satisfaction with work and its relationship to decision-making ability for middle school principals in Nineveh governorate center.
